What's Next For "The Avengers" Stars

The Avengers have been fighting off the box office competition racking up over 1 billion in ticket sales worldwide. There’s no doubt that we’ll see more of these Marvel heroes in sequels and spin off movies but the film’s stars have other projects coming up that you should be on the lookout for.

Robert Downey Jr. will be back as Tony Stark in next year’s Iron Man 3 while Chris Evans will return with his shield for 2014’s Captain America 2 and two more movies called Snowpiercer and The Iceman both due in 2013. Fans have their fingers crossed that the film’s success will lead to a Hulk franchise reboot but in the mean time you can catch Mark Ruffalo in this year’s Thanks For Sharing. Scarlett Johansson kept a pretty low profile to prepare for her Black Widow role but the actress is working on the 2013 movie Hitchcock while Hawkeye's Jeremy Renner’s is set to fill Matt Damon’s shoes in The Bourne Legacy.

Rounding out the cast Chris Hemworth’s Thor will be back in a 2013 sequel and the actor also stars in the upcoming Snow White and the Huntsman while Samuel L. Jackson is currently filming Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained which will drop this Christmas.

RIP Donna Summer

Donna Summer the singing legend and “Disco Queen” who made the classic songs “Last Dance” “Hot Stuff” and “She Works Hard For The Money” has passed away at the age of 63 from cancer. Donna’s powerful voice and infectious dance records defined the disco generation yet her songs still resonate with fans of all ages to this day. Here’s a great video of Donna performing “Last Dance” just last year:

Over the weekend my wife and I attended the Project C.A.N.V.A.S shoe auction gala in New York. The event was a huge success and some of the great shoes up for auction included kicks by my wife with Crystal Icing as well as shoes by Cee-Lo with Mikael Colombu and designs from Mr. Brainwash Audemars Piguet Swizz Beatz Ellen DeGeneres plus many more! Making My Directorial Debut With "School Dance"

I'm so excited to give you all a few more details about my upcoming major directorial debut.

School Dance a coming-of-age comedy which I also co-wrote will be produced through NCredible Entertainment and follows a high school freshman who wants to be part of a dance crew at his school but can't seem to break out of his shell and get through the initiation. The movie will begin shooting this June and I'm thrilled to be working with Lionsgate on such a special project.

RIP Adam Yauch Of The Beastie Boys

The hip-hop world has lost a pioneer today. Adam Yauch who was one-third of the legendary group The Beastie Boys died today at the age of 47 from cancer.

The Beastie Boys shot to fame in the late 1980s after dropping Licensed to Ill which featured the party anthem “You Gotta Fight For Your Right To Party!” Adam aka MCA along with group members Mike D and Ad-Rock fused rock and rap in a way that had never been done before helping to bring hip-hop to the masses. Watch the video for the groundbreaking song below:

I want to take this time to let you know that May is Lupus Awareness month. It's important that everyone knows at least a little about this disease so that they can recognize and treat it. Lupus is a chronic autoimmune disease that can attack any part of the body and the signs and symptoms tend to last from just a a few weeks to years in some cases. Those with Lupus have complications with their immune system which is crucial for fighting off viruses bacteria and germs. The illness can range from mild to life threatening and is not contagious so it's impossible to "catch" Lupus from someone or "give" Lupus to someone. At least 1.5 million Americans of all ethnicities have Lupus and while there is currently no cure there are treatments and medications that help keep it under control.

Cee-Lo Green was joined by fellow Goodie Mob members Khujo T-Mo and Big Gipp last night during The Voice to premiere the Atlanta-based hip hop group's new song "Fight to Win" to the excited audience. Younger fans may not know that Cee-Lo started his career with Goodie Mob before branching out but the reunion was well worth the wait for fans of the group. Most kids don’t know what a bowtie is much less how to tie one. Moziah Bridges isn’t most kids. When the 10-year old mini-mogul’s grandmother taught him how to make bowties using scrap fabric the clever kid’s ties got tons of compliments from family friends. Now the fourth grader’s “Mo’s Bows” line of unique and fun tie designs are available online at Etsy and Moziah is a bona fide businessman. Take a peek at some of Moziah’s awesome bowties below.
