this interview was perfection to me. i like to always add that i have been following this woman since the start of her career. it was good to see the regular side of Mariah. I love her sense of humor and really do get her "moments" but I feel certain types of people do not always get it. these people are the ones who read too deep into everything but thier own life. So, for Mariah to turn off the glam and keep it real and down to earth, was very refreshing to see. i like that she hinted she has to finish up some music in the coming week. she feels it is appropriate for the moment. that left me confused and wanting to know more. is it appropriate, as paying tribute to whitney? or could it be reconizing the cause she is speaking for? dem babies??? all i can really say and just to be real, if i may, i hope Mariah has been taking care of her vocals as well as she has been taking care of her family. i say that because we can not ignore the road whitney houston's voice took, nor should we judge it, but I hope that ALL singers learned from whitney's life. much respect to her. Mariah has nothing to prove but really needs to be about the vocals this round. pure solid live vocals. forget the glam, forget the ensemble, and focus on the art that is dying. bring music and real singing back Mariah. we are by your side.  lamb #1 

Through our afflictions and trials, our personal struggles, we learn to exhale and inhale with a new gratitude, a new awareness of how fragile we are, and how dear life is. We learn to pray, we see our dependency on God, and we humbly cry out to him, and in his great mercy, and compassion, he hears us, and come to prolong our days, and through it all, we learn to thank him, praise him, adore him and magnify him. 

We then realize, it was good, that we were afflicted.
